You can walk to the town centre, the beach, Scarborough Castle or Peasholm Park within ten minutes. A 5-minute walk across North Marine Road provides breath-taking views of the North Bay and Scarborough Castle, with benches where you can rest for a while. You may catch a glimpse of the pods of dolphins that are regular visitors to the coastline.
A meandering path takes you down to the beach in less than 10 minutes. Once on the seafront over three miles of flat promenade provide the perfect opportunity to walk and explore all areas of the Victorian resort. Either head south below the hilltop castle towards the South Bay, Scarborough Spa and the Italian Gardens, or go north past rows of colourful beach huts towards the Sealife Centre and Scalby Mills. This is a detached property encircled by a very pretty, welcoming garden, tucked away down a peaceful side road with the benefit of still being easy walking distance to the town. There is a shared gravel driveway leading to gated parking for one car outside the house.
Inside is a large modern kitchen complete with large Aga which also has a gas stove and oven extension as well as underfloor heating and a large dining table perfect for entertaining. The kitchen opens out through glass doors on one side to a private courtyard with patio furniture and on the other to the enclosed garden. It is well-equipped for all your culinary needs. This leads through to the most fabulous open plan living area with three arched glass doors facing the garden, bathing the room in light.
