The famous steam train departs from Pickering, transporting visitors on a scenic journey through ’Heartbeat Country’ to the ancient fishing port of Whitby. This area is excellent for both walkers and cyclists, with miles of beautiful walks through the North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest. Family fun can be found at the Go Ape Adventure Centre and Flamingo Land and there are miles of sandy beaches along the Heritage Coast.
