Hellifield is a small village with a post office, gift shop, pub, small convenience store and a café. Enjoy the best of both worlds being so close to nature. As well as being perfectly placed for access to the National Park (Malham Cove is a 6 mile walk from the house), you are only a 7 mile drive away from entering the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where, along with a lot more excellent walking country, Gisburn Forest also contains award winning mountain bike trails. Other nearby attractions include Bolton Abbey and Grassington which doubled for ’Darrowby’ in the latest remake of All Creatures Great and Small. If you want to venture a little further afield, a day trip to the Lake District is possible with all that it has to offer.
