Ilkley is 14 miles away, and is famous for its Cow and Calf Rocks up on Ilkley Moor. The pretty market town of Settle, 12 miles, can be reached by train from Gargrave, and has a market square, variety of shops and cafés and of course, the famous Settle-Carlisle railway.
