Passed down through generations, before slipping into disrepair. The present owner (who is descended from one of the previous residents Sir Francis Bigod) purchased the estate in 2002. He has employed a team of specialist masons and craftsmen and has been lovingly rebuilding and restoring this incredible place of local heritage.

Dating back to the 1880’s the police station closed in the 1960’s, and the property has since been extended and completely renovated. Hinderwell is a peaceful rural village, it is hard to imagine that the resident bobby saw much action here!
