It has an open plan kitchen and sitting area, the kitchen has all the amenities you should need such as fridge/freezer, electric hob, and a combi oven/microwave.
There is a table with two chairs conveniently placed with stunning high ceilings and feature light fittings. The living area has a comfortable sofa, with pops of colour complimenting the white finished walls, there is a Smart TV with access to Netflix, a comforting electric wood burner and a single sofa bed neatly tucked away is required.
The bedroom is quaint with shabby chic designs in mind and an en-suite shower room. Modern shutters have been placed in the main living area for privacy. There is a patio area next to the property where you may bump into the owner’s dog, Skye.

Set on the Staffordshire Moorlands and Derbyshire border, Longnor is a quaint village with a historic cobbled market square at the heart of it. It’s home to a traditional village pub, local shop, post office and fish and chip shop, all of which are just a few minutes walk from the cottage. Longnor provides an excellent starting point for many walks that radiate from the village, and for any rock climbers and free runners ‘The Roaches’ and ‘Ramshaw Rocks’ are just 10 minutes away. The famous spa town of Buxton home to the Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and Health Spa is around a 15-minute drive, and the ever popular market town of Bakewell around 20-minutes. Dovedale, home to the famous stepping stones, Ashbourne and Chatsworth House can all be reached in around 30-minutes as can Britain’s premier theme park Alton Towers.

There are some good trail routes nearby such as Tissington Trail and High Peak trail, both good for walking and cycling. There are walking routes take are directly from the properties too in which you can walk for miles or keep it short and sweet, whichever you prefer.
Alton Towers theme park lies just a couple of miles from Ramsor Farm and makes for a great day out for all the family with a mixture of rides for different ages as well as Splash Landings water park. White Park Cottage is the largest of the two barn conversions on Broad Ecton Farm. The ground floor has an open plan, social space made up of the kitchen, dining and living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need during your stay to rustle up your favourite meals. The living area has comfortable seating and a TV plus a dining table with chairs. There is warming underfloor heating throughout the property. The first double bedroom is located on the ground floor, up a few steps and has an en-suite shower room. On the first floor are two further bedrooms made up of two doubles, and a family bathroom with shower over bath.
The location is central to many walking routes, with the most popular being the Manifold Valley just over the hill; from the door you can take on different hikes each day, never needing to take the car if you don’t wish. Aside of walks, there are many tourist attractions such as Alton Towers theme park. The nearest village of Hartington lies just a few miles away and features a famous cheese shop which is a must visit, you can also hop on the Tissington Trail or the High Peak Trail. As you arrive there is ample parking and you are greeted by the vast fields that surround this home. The property itself is very traditional with original features and space. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook your favourite meals during your stay with a dining table to seat all guests, there is also a back door leading out to the rear garden. The living room has comfortable seating, a TV and an open fire. There is also a shower room located on the ground floor.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, made up of a double, a twin and lastly a double bed and single bed in the third bedroom. All rooms have a homely feel to them and have stunning views across the Peak District landscape. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower attachment. They all offer independent shops and cafés, as well as high street names, plenty of restaurants and bars, and Buxton also has the opera house, where you can watch shows making for a good night out. There are also several National Trust Properties nearby and the Peak Wildlife Park is within 5 miles. If you are more of a thrill seeker, then Alton Towers is a mere 10-mile drive.
Butterton sits high above the Manifold Valley. From the cottage, you can get straight onto this trail and walk for miles, connecting to other neighbouring trails. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the Peak District is within easy reach. Tissington Trail - popular with walkers and cyclists - is only 5 miles away. The local inn in Butterton is less than a quarter of a mile from the cottage and offers delicious food and ales. The property has been renovated to a high standard in 2023 with sustainable materials and underfloor heating to the ground floor.
As you drive through Butterton, to get to the cottage you pass through a ford, and from there you can see this inviting and welcoming cottage.
