A quick 15-minute journey into Ashbourne means it is a must visit for your time here, you can amble around the town enjoying the shops, cafes and pubs or head to Dovedale, which is famous for the stepping stones to cross the river. There are some good trail routes nearby such as Tissington Trail and High Peak trail, both good for walking and cycling. There are walking routes take are directly from the properties too in which you can walk for miles or keep it short and sweet, whichever you prefer.
    Alton Towers theme park lies just a couple of miles from Ramsor Farm and makes for a great day out for all the family with a mixture of rides for different ages as well as Splash Landings water park. Another great place to visit is Peak Wildlife Park where you come face to face with iconic species and have a ‘walk through’ experience. There is something for everybody here and Ramsfor Farm offers the perfect base to retreat back to after a fun filled day.
