Walberswick is also an excellent must see during your visit. Crabbing here is the sport of choice and it will keep kids entertained all day. All you need is a line, a bucket and bacon (we hear smoked bacon is the preferred kind!).

    This is also a dog friendly area with endless woodland and beach walks. A trip to Dunwich and the woods are highly recommended. With a much needed pub at the end of the route this is a destination ideal for both summer and winter getaways.     The surrounding countryside in the Deben Valley is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with picturesque countryside. Woodbridge is a bustling market town with a range of independent shops, fine dining pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, as well as a swimming pool, independent cinema, sailing and glorious walks along the River Deben. The train station is in neighbouring Campsea Ashe with rail links to London, the coast and the Broads. The ancient Saxon burial ground at Sutton Hoo (National Trust), along with The Suffolk Punch Trust is 6 miles away, and the famous seaside resorts of Aldeburgh and Southwold are within easy reach.

    The Station House (ref E5336) is a comfortable detached, three-bedroom station building, typical of the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway. With one double and two twin bedrooms, it can house up to six adults.

    Railway Carriage One (ref E5337) is a compact but airy carriage with a living room and kitchen area and sleeps four in comfort. There is a double bedroom and a second sleeping area with two short bunk beds suitable for children.

    Railway Carriage Two (ref E5601) is a well-appointed and spacious carriage with two bedrooms, one double, one with two bunk beds, and a further sofa bed in the living area to sleep two.
