Cressida (NMA) is ideal for a family holiday as it has a double and twin bedroom. It has a beamed open plan living/dining/kitchen area with patio doors to the terrace. All have a variety of excellent restaurants, interesting specialist shopping, museums and sights such as Warwick Castle and Shakespeare’s houses. There are 10 National Trust properties and the National Motor Museum at Gaydon, all within a 45-minute drive. The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) holds a huge variety of exhibitions and events. If you are exhibitors, this is a perfect place to stay as the NEC is only 30 minutes’ down the motorway. Warwick Parkway railway station is 4.5 miles to take the train to London, 80 minutes, and Birmingham, 23 minutes. Golf, tennis and riding available locally. Shops 3.5 miles, pub 2.5 miles.

Just off a quiet lane in the attractive Warwickshire village of Willoughby is this lovely three-bedroom self catering property. A little further is the Royal town of Leamington Spa where you can visit Victoria Gardens, Warwick with is famous castle and Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon.

Dassett View, part of the owners’ residential property, Bayards, was built of the local Horton stone. Dating back to mid-1600s as a cattle shed, it was converted to a residential accommodation in the 1970s and has recently been refurbished by the current owners. It is a listed building and sits on the edge on the village conservation area. This self-catering accommodation comprises a dedicated access to a well fitted kitchen incorporating everything you. Up the oak staircase brings you into the combined bedroom, sitting room and dining area which has been well designed with the guests comfort in mind. The fabulous bathroom offers ambient lighting so you can relax and unwind in the free standing bathtub after a day’s sightseeing. Views from the living area look across a horse paddock towards Burton Dassett hills.
The village of Fenny Compton, which is just a few miles north of the market town of Banbury, enjoys a friendly pub serving good food and a local shop for all your essentials. More comprehensive local amenities can be found in the local market towns of Banbury or Southam. The property is well situated to allow visitors to take advantage of the many local circular walks including routes along the Oxford Canal where you can enjoy watching the narrowboats sail by and lovely walks along the tow path and to Burton Dassett Hills country park where you can enjoy a picnic or even flying a kite.
