There are many sites of historic or natural interest to visit, including the historic town of Arundel, Chactonbury and Cissbury Rings and the Weald and Downland Museum. Beaches and water sports are nearby at Worthing, Shoresham-by-sea, Ferring and Littlehampton, and shops and restaurants can be found locally in the village of Findon or further afield in Brighton or Horsham.

You can explore the countryside on horseback as well as walking and/or cycling in the area.

The charming small town of Midhurst, famous for polo at Cowdray Park is also a short drive, as are Billingshurst, Haslemere and Guildford. Goodwood, with its motor racing and horse racing, Fontwell races, West Dean Gardens, Parham House, The Weald, Downland Open Air Museum and the South Downs are all within easy driving distance, as is the cathedral city of Chichester with its extensive shopping and tea rooms, festival theatre and harbour tours.
