Many historic houses in the area, including Stourhead (National Trust). An hour’s drive leads to Salisbury, Bath, Cheddar and Weymouth. Visit Stonehenge, and then the ancient Avebury Stone Circle. Situated within the quaint village of Steeple Ashton, Tiptoe is a great base for holidaymakers wanting to explore both Somerset and Wiltshire. These lovely, semi-detached barn conversions are situated just outside of the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury, and close to the iconic prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge, which stands on the grassland of Salisbury Plain.
