The Carriage House (UK11724) is converted from the former stables and coaching house, and has a wealth of features including a large living area with stone floor, exposed beams and inglenook fireplace. The living space is complemented by two bedrooms, one with a four poster bed and one with antique pine triple bunk bed system. Outside, there is a privet garden with lawned area and patio and ideal for a barbecue or a morning coffee.
Brambley Meadow farmhouse (UK11725) has origins dating back to the Magna Carta, and offers families or a group of friends the ideal place to escape to for a countryside holiday, or somewhere to spend the weekend celebrating a special occasion. There is a lot of living space for everyone to enjoy in the house. Outside the farmhouse is a large patio area ideal for a morning coffee or a soak in the hot tub after a day at the beach.
Guest are invited to explore the farm and meet the animals who call it home. There are 10 acres of fields and natural landscape to enjoy and great walks directly from the cottage into the surrounding countryside.
The seaside village of Combe Martin is nearby. As well as good local amenities, the beach is great for rock pooling at low tide or for hiring a kayak and exploring the coastline. Ilfracombe, just around the corner, has a wider range of amenities and a bustling harbour at its centre.
There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the properties including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away and on a clear day, the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington.
