Access to the cottage is by foot only via 12 steps in total with a long, lit gravel pathway in between, so this is not recommended for anyone with walking difficulties. As you arrive you will see a handy square switch on the wall by the house sign which will light your way up the path when dark. Parking for one car is available down below via a driveway but you can pull in by the footpath and unload before parking up.
    Accommodation comprises four bedrooms on the first floor, three of which benefit from beautiful sea views. On the ground floor, there is a comfortable living room with TV and Amazon Firestick, plus a cosy wood burner for relaxing evenings in. The bright and contemporary kitchen/diner has everything you’ll need for your stay and access out onto the large decking where the views over the sea and towards Wales are spectacular, and outside is the best place to truly enjoy the views.     Lynton, also known as ‘Little Switzerland’, is a small Victorian town which lies on the northern edge of the West Country peninsula in an area of incomparable beauty within Exmoor National Park. Bracken and heather clad, the sweeping hills and valleys nestle between these and spectacular cliffs. Rivers wind their way through deeply wooded valleys on their way to the sea, occasionally interrupted by tumbling waterfalls. The remarkable Valley of the Rocks, which is a must see, is a dry valley that runs parallel to the coast and is just over a mile to the west of Lynton. It is a popular tourist destination noted for its herd of feral goats and for its landscape and geology.
