Hand built, these charming, wooden cladded shepherds huts provide all the comfort you could need for a relaxing break for two. With a tastefully finished double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and an open plan living area/kitchen with a microwave oven, two ring hob for cooking a hearty breakfast, armchairs and small dining area with flat screen TV.

For those who wish to explore on foot, a choice of beautiful walks await. Stroll through the surrounding woodland, alongside the bordering River Teise or through the endless countryside beyond. The friendly village pub is within a minutes’ walk and a footpath meandering through woodland taking you as far the locally renowned Boathouse at Yalding where either a cool drink, spot of lunch or the adventurous watersports centre awaits. And if you fancy jumping into the car for a day out, there is plenty nearby waiting to be explored. Historic Leeds Castle and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are both a 30-minute drive away. Beautiful Tunbridge Wells and the bustling towns of Tonbridge and Maidstone are all within 20 minutes.

After a day of exploring, the spacious deck veranda is the perfect spot for a drink or even dinner al fresco. The communal garden provides an additional relaxing space to unwind whilst overlooking the tranquil pond and listening to the sound of the river just yards away. Pub in village.

Stepping inside through the triple bi-fold doors, the open plan studio layout works perfectly for your romantic retreat, with the extremely comfortable, raised kingsize bed enjoying the highest quality sheets for the ultimate night’s sleep. The kitchen area is well equipped and has granite worktops, an electric hob and full-sized oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave, allowing you to cook a meal at any time of day and then relax on the sofa with a glass of wine or a cuppa! The shower room has been finished to the same high standard, with a large electric shower and heated towel rail for your comfort. Underfloor heating features throughout making the pod the ideal choice for a holiday at any time of year!
There is a working equestrian facility to the rear and if you can bear to tear yourself away, then you are within driving distance of many superb attractions in south Somerset. Nearby are the great attractions of the Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Haynes Classical Car Collection, the enchanting Glastonbury Tor and Clarks Factory Village. There are numerous historic houses, the cathedral city of Wells and onto the delightful Cheddar Gorge and caves, while further afield is the historic spa city of Bath. There is a wealth of attractions and sights to enjoy and on your return perhaps stroll down to the local award-winning village pub, 1 mile away, to wine and dine.

The property has been equipped with all modern comforts with the added luxury of a private hot tub and fire pit to enjoy after a day out in the countryside.
Situated next to, but totally private from its neighbour The Steading (UK5834), each can be booked together to accommodate families or couples, and each lovingly furnished, enjoying the same attention to detail. Located just 4 miles from the centre of Montrose and a couple of miles from the nearest shop and pub, there is plenty to discover in the area. Glorious sandy beaches in Montrose, Lunan Bay or St Cyrus are wonderful for bracing walks or playing in the sand.
Montrose Basin is a renowned nature reserve and wildlife centre and in the winter, thousands of pink-footed geese make a spectacular sight taking off in the early morning to feed in the surrounding countryside. Away from the coast are the Angus Glens which form the foothills of the Grampian Mountains, with myriad walks and trails to be discovered. Golf, tennis and a leisure pool are in the town itself, or further afield the cities of Dundee and Aberdeen are almost equi-distant and have plenty of shops, eateries and theatres for an alternative day out. These bespoke, hand-built shepherd huts provide the perfect getaway for those looking for a great mix of glamping and contemporary facilities. The huts themselves have been designed to offer Romani-caravan style living in that all you will find inside is a beautifully appointed bedroom with a full-size double bed and a wardrobe. Don’t be fooled though, as these pretty little huts offer far more room than a traditional Romani-style caravan and make for a lovely space to relax and unwind. Each of these charming properties comes with access to a shared building housing individual private high-end bathrooms for each of the two units and a well-equipped shared kitchen and dining room. Choose Hedge Betty (the Norfolk slang for a Hedge Sparrow) and enjoy your own hot tub.
You can also bring your two dogs along to this hut, which is beautifully decorated in cool greys. Or choose Jill Hoot (UK36796) (that’s Norfolk for an owl!) which is pet free and therefore perfect for those with allergies and is decorated in a pretty beach-hut blue. Both huts have seating areas in the shared grounds and there is a shared fire pit perfect for toasting marshmallows too. The whole site is so private and secluded that there is very little light pollution, meaning that you will see a sky full of stars laid out like a sparkling blanket above you every night. It also offers daytime views across rolling fields and the chance to get close to nature as you will often find yourself sharing your space with local wildlife such as deer, pheasants and wild rabbits. There are even woodpeckers and buzzards around too, adding to the magic of this truly unique site.

This remote spot is accessed via a rough track and is the perfect place to base yourself and enjoy all the attractions the area has to offer. In under an hour’s drive in one direction you have everything visitors have come to expect from the adventure capital of Europe. Ride on the train from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, go surfing, abseiling, climbing or enjoy one of hundreds of suggested walks in this area of stunning beauty. The Snowdonia National Park can be reached within a 40-minute drive. In under an hour in the opposite direction is the North Wales coast and its spectacular beaches. For those wishing to stay closer, you will find the historic market towns of Ruthin and Denbigh, Bala, Corwen and the world-famous Llangollen railway and canal within 15 miles, boasting shops, cafés and local art and craft shops. The National Trust’s Gaol in Ruthin, Chirk Castle, and craft centre, are all perfect for a family day out.

Tucked away on the site of the Mid Suffolk Light Railway track bed, close to the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum, these delightful and unique holiday properties are based on the railway theme: one a station building plus 5 converted railway carriages, enjoying panoramic views across rolling countryside.

The Station House (ref E5336) is a comfortable detached, three-bedroom station building, typical of the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway. With one double and two twin bedrooms, it can house up to six adults.

Railway Carriage One (ref E5337) is a compact but airy carriage with a living room and kitchen area and sleeps four in comfort. There is a double bedroom and a second sleeping area with two short bunk beds suitable for children.

Railway Carriage Two (ref E5601) is a well-appointed and spacious carriage with two bedrooms, one double, one with two bunk beds, and a further sofa bed in the living area to sleep two. The open plan living area, and an adjoining kitchen, allows families or friends to spread out, relax and enjoy their holiday together.

The Guard’s Van (E5639) offers two comfortable bedrooms for four people, with a double and two single beds. It has a delightful living and dining room with comfortable, upholstered bench seats which retain the original feel of the carriage.

The Italian Carriage (UKC3492) offers accommodation for up to four people. At one end you will find a bunk room, sleeping two people and the other a double bed in the master room. In the centre of the carriage is an open plan seating and kitchen area. The carriage enjoys its own patio and seating area.

Wilby Halt (ref UKC712) is a quirky and unusual property is split over two restored railway carriages. Linked by a railway platform, the first carriage houses the living space including kitchen and comfortable living room. The second carriage is the sleeping carriage where you will find the double bedroom and further room with bunk bed and single bed. This really is a unique experience and perfect for families.

It is surrounded by country lanes and farmland, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy cycling, walking and just relaxing and getting away from it all. It is centrally located, so it is also a great destination for those who want to sample what Suffolk has to offer. The owner’s own swimming pool, ¾ mile away, is available and is heated all year. There is also a hot tub and sauna.
Local amenities can be found in the pretty village of Debenham only 4 miles away, which has some lovely shops, pubs and cafés, as well as a local supermarket and leisure centre. The beautiful village of Mendlesham, 1½ miles, has a pub, post office, local store and bakery. It is within a short walk of the Mid-Suffolk Railway Museum, with steam trains at weekends in summer. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

The Smithy glamping pods are fully equipped newly built lodges in the semi-rural area of Dainton, outside of Newton abbot. Situated on the owners smallholding and with beautiful countryside views. The owners are also happy to give guided tours where they are able.
As you enter the lodge through the French doors, you find yourself in the open kitchen/living/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, electric hob and fridge/freezer. The living/dining area benefits from dining table and chairs, a sofa bed as additional sleeping and a TV. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed with wall mounted TV and en-suite shower room. The lodge has a lovely small decked and patio area to the front where guests can sit out and relax on the two zero-gravity garden chairs, looking out across the fields with various animals
There are many local restaurants with great food located relatively nearby, including pubs with their famous 2 in 1 pies. Whether you are wanting to visit the area for the countryside walks or the stunning coastal walks and beaches nearby, these peaceful retreats will be a great base to start to explore the English Riviera and South Hams with all it has to offer. Having a tranquil location, with amazing big skies and abundant wildlife and a large private fishing pond, this fantastic glamping pod boasts an interrupted view across the acres of private parkland. Privately set within the owners’ 54-acre grounds. The attractive town of Diss is just a 2.5-mile drive, or just a mile by using a footpath, and offers plenty of cafés, local pubs, shops, supermarkets, sporting, and social clubs including an 18-hole golf course. Even has a mainline railway station, so you can leave the car behind and jump on the train to visit Norwich City, and Liverpool Street, Central London.
The pod is fully equipped with a comfy double bed, fresh bedding and towels which are left for your arrival. In the living area, there is a sofa bed for an additional two guests (please note the pod sizing is suited more to a small family or two adults). A modern shower room complete with toilet and hand basin. The compact kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Outside is your very own ’tree sofa’ private seating area with a fire pit and barbecue.
Located on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk the surrounding area offers plenty of activities to do and see. Excellent carp fishing is available on-site; be sure to bring your rods! Great walking, cycling and bird watching too available locally. So many eateries and delightful market towns and villages to explore. Wonderful sandy beaches to be found along the coastline, including the lovely coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold with piers 35 miles away. Explore Redgrave and Lopham Fen, RSPB Minsmere and Walberswick just a few of the favourites for nature lovers. Bressingham Steam and Gardens 9-minute drive.
