Wellan is a pod sat in the heart of the Powys countryside on the owners’ working farm, with great views over the open countryside and the stream running past the property. The pod is all open plan and the seating area converts into two double beds. The pod has a private shower room which is located approx 30 yards from the property. There are patio doors leading to a decked area which overlooks the countryside, a perfect place for enjoying the evening sun whilst sipping something cool. Horse riding is available on site. This is a great place for those wanting to explore the area, whether it be on foot or bicycle. Radnor Forest and the Elan Valley are both nearby and offer spectacular views, and routes that can be walked or cycled. The owners have a horse riding school which is a short walk from the pods, where guests can book lessons. There is also the pet sheep and shetland ponies for the children to see and feed. Hafan Fach is a sweet, wooden pod is ideally positioned to discover a gorgeous stretch of Pembrokeshire coastline including a variety of fabulous beauty spots and glorious sandy beaches. The pristine, pine-clad pod has a comfortable sleeping space and is beautifully appointed with all the basics you will need for a lovely holiday. The en-suite bathroom includes a full flushing toilet, sink and hot shower. Just 3 miles away is the magnificent medieval Pembroke Castle which dominates the entrance to Pembroke town. It is an impressive building which is every schoolchild’s dream of what a castle should be. The castle is the birthplace of Henry Tudor and an ideal place to explore and enjoy picnics or one of the many events such as historic re-enactments and music festivals. Boat trips can be arranged along the stunning Cleddau estuary, while stop-offs to the historical Stackpole Quay are easily accessible from this wonderful glamping destination.
