With an open plan living/dining room this social design is great for bringing everyone together, wine dine or chill it’s all catered for. A top of the range kitchen with feature electric range, great for whipping up culinary delights during your stay, accompanied with state-of-the-art appliances throughout. After dining, retreat to the cosy sitting room area, with projector to stream the latest movie releases. Outside, guests can enjoy the six-person hot tub, barbecue, fire pit, elevated patio, large walled garden so that all the fun is contained within your own private space.
Beyond your trendy Forest of Dean bolt hole, Wye Valley and the Welsh Border Country are easily accessible, as is Cheltenham with its races. Picturesque Cotswolds towns such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton on the Water and Burford, and many National Trust properties are all worth a visit, as well as lovely towns and villages such as Newent, Ross, Newham and Monmouth. If exploring and adventure is on the agenda, you are spoilt for choice with the Forest of Dean, Severn and Wye Valleys, Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds all on your doorstep. Perfectly located to enjoy a trip to the ancient cathedral and historic docks of Gloucester, and approximately half an hour’s drive from Cheltenham’s festivals and regency promenade for a spot of designer shopping and fine dining. There are excellent walks and mountain biking trails directly from the farm to May Hill and the surrounding area.
The Red Lion pub is just 5 minute’s walk, The Leaf café and garden centre 3-minute walk. May Hill brewery, Longhope bakery and Harts Barn craft centre just a 5-minute drive. There’s an outstanding restaurant and wet fish counter at Severn Wye smokery, Chaxhill (10-minute drive). Also, a private chef can be arranged from Harts Barn cookery school if required. It is also close to the International Centre for birds of prey and the Three Choirs Vineyard nearby for a spot of bird watching followed by some wine tasting. Within easy reach of the picturesque Wye Valley, including Tintern Abbey and Symonds Yat. Adrenalin junkies are well catered for too, in Gloucester you have the dry ski slope for a day of boarding or tobogganing, off road cycling and treetop rope adventures to be found within the Forest of Dean. Paddle boarding is a firm favourite and available at Gloucester Docks and the picturesque Symonds Yat on the Wye River.

This stylish, detached, converted barn is just a few hundred yards from the heart of Chipping Campden. As the main town in the north-western area of the Cotswolds of high hills and secluded coomb (with its magnificent ’wool’ church, wide market street and beautiful buildings that span at least five centuries), this would make the perfect base from which to tour and explore. With an acre of grounds and ample parking for visitors, Campden Barn offers a high level of comfort with limestone flooring in bathrooms and underfloor heating on both floors of the property.
The magnificent gardens of Kiftsgate Court and Hidcote Manor - with its lovely views over the Vale of Evesham - are not to be missed, as well as many other National Trust properties in the locality; Stratford-upon-Avon (approximately 8 miles), shops, restaurants and pubs, 200 yards.

Why not take some time to chill upon a pew in the glass atrium, whilst basking in the sunlight. The glass walkway also leads to the boudoir quarter. The River Severn is a 10-15 minute walk from the property whilst the Forest of Dean offers plenty for the adventurous including mountain biking, zip wires, Go Ape, kayaking and horse riding. There is an abundance of cycle tracks and valley walks where you may even encounter the native wild boar. Alternatively, just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this rural retreat.

Situated in the Royal Forest of Dean, this property offers an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday or for exploring the surrounding area. Set in the 4 acre grounds of the owners home, it is just a 0.5 mile from Oldcroft with its shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is suitable for the disabled and also provides the perfect location for visitors with pets. The River Severn (4 miles), Dean Heritage Centre, Dean Forest Railway and Tintern Abbey are all nearby. There is good fishing, RSPB reserves, riding, golf, tennis and excellent walking and cycling opportunities locally. West End Farm Lodge Alabaster is a detached lodge that has been built in 2023, situated on the owner’s 14-acre working farm. Set within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with fabulous far-reaching views of the rolling countryside. All ground floor accommodation with open plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen – perfect for cooking up a storm whilst all socialising together. There are two bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. One of the bedrooms has a zip and link bed so can be converted to twin beds if needed. Outside there is decking area with seating and enclosed lawned area – perfect for your four legged friends. There is an outdoor washing area for bikes and dogs, and use of a utility room with washing machine. Dog sitting is available with prior arrangement and paid directly to the owner.
Whether it’s a gentle stroll, relaxing and unwinding, or energetic pursuits you crave, you will be sure to find it all here. Riding, golfing, canoeing, fishing, kayaking and climbing are all available in the surrounding areas. Cycling is very popular in the Forest of Dean, with dedicated tracks and trails to suit all abilities. Rich in wildlife and nature, it has many picnic sites to soak up this atmospheric area. Local attractions include Puzzlewood, Go Ape high wire adventure course, the steam railway, Little Dean Jail and Dean Heritage Centre. Clearwell Caves and Tintern Abbey are also very popular. Chepstow, with its racecourse and cliff top castle, also has many bars, restaurants and independent shops. Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye are also within easy driving distance and have some fantastic historic castles to visit. Gloucester, which is a short drive, offers a wider mix of shopping, pubs and bistros and is great for Harry Potter fans to view the cathedral where filming took place.
