This delightful log cabin has been thoughtfully furnished to offer a cosy and welcoming feel, with enough room for all the family. On a covered veranda in the garden you will find the blissful hot tub, which offers the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, with views of the pleasant enclosed garden. Both bedrooms offer the flexibility of zip and link twin beds which can be made into super kingsize beds (on request). The owners have thoughtfully provided complimentary toiletries should you forget your own!
Bring your bucket and spade as the glorious sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is just a mile down the road and offers superb views over to the Rhinog Mountains. For the more adventurous, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are a thrill seekers delight, whilst the famous Ffestiniog Railway and mighty Harlech Castle are also well worth a visit. From Barmouth, why not hire a bike and cycle across Barmouth Bridge and along the Mawddach Trail to Penmaenpool and Dolgellau? Beach 1 mile. Shops 300 yards, pubs and restaurants ½ mile.

Set on the edge of Abergynolwyn, a village that lies in the shadows of Cader Idris and situated between the popular seaside resort of Tywyn and market town Dolgellau, this beautiful detached barn conversion provides spacious accommodation, ideal for families wishing to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Tywyn is surrounded by the Tarren Hills, and holds the 7-mile long Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Steam Railway that runs between Tywyn Wharf and Nant Gwernol. Nearby Tal-y-llyn lake and Talyllyn steam railway are always popular with visitors, as are the sandy beaches along Cardigan Bay. Some visitor attractions include the Centre for Alternative Technology, King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Animalarium, Coed-y-Brenin Forest and Portmeirion Italianate village. Other places to visit are Birds Rock, Castell y Bere, Dolgoch Falls Walk, Aberdovey, Corris slate mines and craft centres. The location is also great for easy access into Snowdonia. Situated in the quiet village of Garndolbenmaen in the Snowdonia National Park, this cottage is near to one of the new UNESCO World Heritage sites for Wales Slate - ’Gorseddau and Prince of Wales Slate Quarries, Railways and Mill’. This is a perfect central location for Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Steam Railway, Cricieth perfect for spotting porpoises in the bay, and Harlech home to another World Heritage Site Harlech Castle, the Llyn Peninsula and the Snowdonia mountains and passes are all within easy reach. Pebble Cottage is a stunning former fisherman’s cottage situated close to the beach front and local amenities in Aberdovey. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water based activities available including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching available in the surrounding area. A myriad of visitor attractions are within easy reach including the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Talyllyn Railway, the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Beach 100 yards. The cottage is well equipped with everything you’ll need for your break away and there’s also an enclosed front garden to relax in. You are really in the heart of all the Llyn Peninsula has to offer. There are lakes, coastal paths, fishing, bike trails, Snowdonia National Park and popular tourist towns all within easy reach, not to mention the beach a few minutes walk away.

There are many beaches to explore in the area, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Just down the road you’ll find the blue flag Dinas Dinlle Beach, with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey. Porthdinllaen is also nearby and is home to the famous Ty Coch Inn, once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world!

Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site is only a short drive away. You’re within easy reach of, Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There’s also Glasfryn park with many activities to be found here, from go-karting, archery, crazy golf, and many water sports to name a few. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember, and without a doubt you’ll want to return.

A North Wales holiday cottage almost straight from a children’s story book and set in a magical location surrounded by woodland. A real welcome awaits with fresh homemade Welsh cakes, cupcakes and a bottle of wine. Bird boxes and feeders around the cottage ensure birdsong throughout the year; nuthatches, nesting blue tits and even woodpeckers can be seen feeding. There are beach toys in the shed for long summer days and sledges for winter fun. Guests will love feeding the ducks and chickens in the owners’ garden nearby.

In Snowdonia National Park you can discover breathtaking mountain and coastal scenery, steam trains, excellent local produce, fascinating industrial heritage and exhilarating adventure activities. Fairbourne and Barmouth are a pleasant drive away, with miles of golden sands at Barmouth and a smaller sandy beach at Fairbourne. Drive down to the lovely seaside resort of Aberdovey with candy-coloured houses, a long uncrowded beach and seaside atmosphere.

In the heart of Criccieth this 17th-century wing of a Grade II listed manor house has been fully and beautifully restored and is now a stylish and comfortable holiday cottage. Set in a wooded enclave the cottage is brimming with character - thick stone walls shuttered windows, two inglenook fireplaces and a stone, steep, spiral staircase.
Criccieth’s surrounding protected woodlands have undulating lawns and an orchard shared with Bwthyn Stabal (Ref QC1199) to enjoy meals in dappled sunlight under the trees listening to birdsong - what could be more enchanting! The property is protected with CCTV in the grounds, focused on the oil tank whilst guests are in residence and on the front door in low season.
