To the rear of the property there is a stepped garden area with stunning views over Aberglaslyn valley, a lovely peaceful space to relax in the picturesque village of Beddgelert which has an abundance of walks surrounded by impressive scenery. The village itself is steeped in history and folk lore. Sygun copper mine is just down the road and is well worth a visit for all ages. The area is considered the adventure capital of Wales and there are an abundance of opportunities for climbing, hiking, walking, cycling and water sports available. You can also ride a steam train on the Welsh Highland Railway to Caernarfon and nearby Porthmadog.

Bring your bucket and spade as the glorious sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is just a mile down the road and offers superb views over to the Rhinog Mountains. For the more adventurous, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are a thrill seekers delight, whilst the famous Ffestiniog Railway and mighty Harlech Castle are also well worth a visit.
