Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is under 8 miles away, where Prince Charles had his investiture, Caernarfon has many shops and eateries to enjoy. Also within easy reach is Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. The special Island of Anglesey is around 20 minutes’ drive, rich in historic sights, wildlife, and many visitor attractions to explore.
