    A very good local pub is just a mile away from the cottage on the main road. To the west, the Llyn Peninsula offers many coves, harbours and vast stretches of safe, sandy beaches. Black Rock sands is the closest. The coast path is 84 miles of diverse landscapes including open countryside, wild heath and coastal features.
