Formerly it was an old cart shed used for storing the carts over the winter period and is thought to be 250-300 years old. It is set near a Roman road with an old hill fort nearby. The Cart Shed has been thoughtfully furnished throughout with many hand-crafted items adorning the property. The cottage has been lovingly renovated over a period of time by the current owners who are as keen on the exterior appearance as the interior, with landscaped grounds which guests are free to wander and enjoy.
