There are many picturesque villages to visit, and the property is well placed for sightseeing, with the cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester all within driving distance. The Malvern Hills, Cotswolds and Forest of Dean are also within easy reach, as is the Regency spa town of Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of Shakespeare. Both offer an excellent day out, with an abundance of shops, theatres, racecourses and restaurants. Excellent, challenging walking, golf, fishing, cycling and horse riding are all close by. Accommodating up to four guests, plus travel cot if required, with open plan living, kitchen, and dining areas, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere with patio doors that lead out onto the terrace and with stunning views of the rural countryside, it’s the perfect countryside stay. Or after a day out exploring, unwind in the relaxing hot tub, perfect for star gazing and located right on the terrace of the lodge so not far to go at all! Bromyard is a hidden gem. Well known for its local farm shops, cider, and artisan food producers. With independent shops to visit and lively town crier events throughout the year, this town offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all visitors. The river Frome is nearby for those who like to enjoy canoeing and similar activities. Brockhampton Estate, Shortwood Farm, the Black and White Trail, Ledbury town with its timber framed buildings and historic 17th century market hall, and the city of Hereford with its cathedral and Mappa Mundi, are all a short drive away and wonderful places to visit.

These four superb holiday cottages nestle on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire and are located on a 700-acre estate on the beautiful west side of the Malvern Hills. Netherley Hall Estate is a family-run farm specialising in the breeding of cattle and sheep and the surrounding area offers marvellous woodland walks.

The cottages are within 15 minutes’ drive of Malvern and have panoramic views of the wooded hills and unspoilt countryside; the location is ideal for nature enthusiasts, with an abundance of wildlife to observe as well as unrivalled birdwatching.

Three of the cottages are detached, whilst the fourth one is semi-detached, and the English oak timber used to restore their interiors was felled and machined from the extensive woodland on the estate itself. The furnishings and fittings for all the cottages have been supplied by local businesses, and during restoration, the owners have paid great attention to detail.
Parkers (ref RAAP) was originally built in 1610 and is a detached, listed building lovingly restored to the very highest standard and has several items of antique furniture. Parkers Lodge (ref RAAQ) is a smaller two-bedroomed detached cottage completed in 2006 and fitted out to a very high standard, whilst Brook House (ref RAAR) is a detached, listed building dating from around 1670 and emanates a marvellous ambience. It has landscaped gardens and a terrace with outstanding views overlooking Mathon Brook. The Bothy (ref UK12100) is semi-detached and was renovated in 2019. It has a kitchen/dining room, and through the archway there is a comfortable living room with French doors opening out to a beautiful garden area, with views over the farmland and farm animals.

Attractions to visit near the cottages include the Malvern Hills, Three Counties Showground and Malvern Theatre, as well as farm shops, gardens, gift shops, picnic areas and walking trails. Fishing, golf and horse riding are also available, as well as pick your own fruit (in season). Racecourses in the locality include Hereford, Worcester, Chepstow, Ludlow, Cheltenham, Wolverhampton, Warwick and Stratford. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles.

In close proximity to the Wye Valley and within easy driving distance of the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester. There are plenty of activities for even the most active guests to enjoy in the area, including kayaking and canoeing down the river, walks and tours around the county’s historic sites including Goodrich Castle and Symonds Yat rock. Golfers are also spoilt for choice with several nearby courses to choose from including the picturesque Rolls of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye golf clubs.

The sleeping quarter includes a sumptuous bed with top of the range linens for the ultimate night’s sleep, along with a snazzy bathroom with double shower. Outside guests can enjoy dining alfresco, followed by some serious relax and recuperation within the bubbling hot tub. Just across the lane, guests will find a small working farm; why not request a box of eggs and some wonky veg for a small donation, should you feel like dining on organic local produce for the week? There are some lovely country pubs within walking distance too that provide a nice pit stop after a country ramble.

Just beyond this wonderful abode, you are within a short drive of the world-famous Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds, making this a great base for walkers. Within Malvern, there is a plethora of restaurants, boutique shops and a theatre. Why not take a trip along the Wye River, hop on a canoe or paddleboard at Hereford, and see wildlife and Herefordshire by river? These stylish barn conversions are adjacent to the owners’ home and farm and are wonderfully located near the book town of Hay On Wye, famous for its literary festival held every May. There are a good range of country pubs nearby which guests can walk to, and enjoy food and a drink. For guests looking to be more active there are stunning walks onto Hay Bluff, The Begwyns and the The Black Mountains. Further afield there is the city of Hereford which offers a range of shops and restaurants. Originally constructed as part of the Norman invasion of Wales, Hay Castle is a medieval site which offers guests a fascinating day out.
Badgers Den (UK32084), is a comfortable one storey barn conversion set all on one level. The living room includes comfortable seating with a double sofa bed offering flexible sleeping at the property. The bedroom sleeps two with a super kingsize bed for your comfort, along with an en-suite wet room. There is a decked area to the front of the property with garden furniture.
Gooses Roost (UK32096), is also all on one level and the super kingsize bed also has the option to be two single beds. Horsecroft (UK37462) is a detached barn conversion and features 3 zip and link super kingsize beds which can be twin beds on request, giving greater flexibility for couples or children.
