Close by is the village of Kilmersdon, home to the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill. Also the beautiful picturesque village of Mells is only 2.5 miles away. There are many wonderful country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the west and south, such as Lyme Regis, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. Downstairs is a fabulous open plan living space, with wonderful Bi-folding doors that open to allow the outside in and giving you great views over the Blackdown hills. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need and the island unit opens it up to the rest of the room, so you can socialise while creating your next culinary masterpiece! The large Master bedroom on the ground floor has a stunning four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower, while upstairs the second large bedroom features a wonderful kingsize bespoke bed, beautiful beamed vaulted ceiling and statement lighting. There is also a shower room upstairs with walk-in shower.
Outside you will find a Mediterranean style covered seating area complete with its own chandelier, barbecue area and private hot tub, all soaking up the wonderful views!
Set in the lovely village of Bishopswood, with the Somerset Wildlife Trust running adjacent to the property, you are only 5-minutes’ walk from the local pub and surrounded by miles of beautiful walks. The market town of Honiton is just 10 miles away and the beach at Lyme Regis can be reached within a 30-minute drive. Heading north, you will find the county town of Taunton with lots of restaurants, cinema, bowling and shopping, and within an hour’s drive you will find Glastonbury, Street, Minehead and the moors of Exmoor! Beach 18 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Welcome to Marram Dune Beach House, a truly exceptional holiday home on the Brean shoreline, with sea views and private access to the beach, this is coastal living at its finest, you will not want to leave! Set on the ground floor, Marram Dune has gorgeous modern features and a wonderful flow that ensures a fabulous time. Stepping through the front door you are greeted by the spacious hallway with stunning ceiling lanterns that flood the space with natural light, head through to the open plan living space, with comfy seating, Smart TV and bi-fold doors that bring the outside in and draw your eye down the garden to the sea beyond. From the dining area head into the large kitchen which comes extremely well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The huge, fully enclosed rear garden has a large decked area by the house with garden furniture where you can sit back and enjoy the views across the Bristol channel. There is a large lawned area that leads down to a gate that gives you access straight onto the beach. Here you can walk the 5-mile stretch with the dog down to Burnham-on-Sea or just listen to the waves lapping the shore. Back in the garden you will find a summerhouse, the ideal spot to relax with a glass of bubbly and stargaze while planning your next days adventures!

There is so much to do and see on the doorstep, with Breans many bars and restaurants within easy reach as well as the theme park and waterpark just a short walk away! The Animal Farm adventure park is nearby with lots to see and do, including the picturesque National Trust managed coastline at Brean Down offering peace, tranquillity and miles of trails away from the busy seaside resorts of Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea. The local area offers a fun packed holiday for families, as well as the beaches of Burnham, Berrow and Brean offering a seaside sanctuary for those wishing to get away from it all. Take a walk to the headland at Brean Down. Here you can experience the 360 degree views over the sea on one side, and across the Somerset Levels on the other, also on a clear day, you can see both Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills.
