"Tomatin is a Highland village equidistant from the charming city of Inverness, and the outdoor capital of Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park. The village itself has an award-winning whisky distillery and the forward-thinking and truly fabulous licensed Strathdearn Community Shop, cafe and complex. Situated just off the A9, yet nestled in a secluded spot, this lovely apartment is great for those looking for peace and quiet, but still able to venture out and explore easily.
Tomatin is nestled within the area of Strathdearn and a pick up point for day trips to Skye which makes a great day out. Follow the River Findhorn up the Strath to its upper reaches in the Monadhliath Mountains. This range is little-known and deserted, it can be your own Highland backyard with many amazing walks to undertake, including the Four Munros. The Monadhliath mountain range spreads south into the Cairngorms National Park, which is very close to Drovers Apartment. The rear of the garden runs down to the river and is fenced off and there is plenty of outdoor seating space on the rear patio. The rear garden is a good size and reasonably private with barbecue facilities and a bike post. Bonnie Doon has a well-equipped kitchen, Smart TV and good-sized bathroom.
