This area is also perfect for cycling, an ideal mode of transport to take in all the wonderful sights this area has to offer. Being very close to the modest seaside resort of Arnside, this stunning property is perfectly placed to enjoy all the local area has to offer. Morecambe and Lancaster can also be reached within 30 minutes.
You are welcome to bring your dog. If your dog enjoys relaxing on a sofa, the owners ask that you provide your own dog blankets to place on the sofas to protect them. They would also ask that at the end of a muddy walk, you clean your dog (towels are provided) in the porch area before allowing the dog into the rest of the property.

The front door opens into the open plan living/dining area which is a welcoming area to socialise in, either around the table over a game of cards or by sitting in front of a roaring log fire. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the amenities and equipment you require to prepare a picnic or Sunday roast dinner. From Pooley Bridge you can take the Ullswater Steamer to Glenridding either to relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings or to follow in the footsteps of Alfred Wainwright and explore the fells. The moment you walk into this rustic style timber lodge you’ll feel a sense of warmth and homeliness. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is comfortable and has all the mod cons you need with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, and large TV, but chances are you won’t be spending time watching TV or Netflix, you’ll more than likely be trying to spot the red squirrels and deer that often roam around the grounds.
