Although it feels a million miles away from the towns you will discover, you are less than 8 miles to the coastline and under 20 miles to the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. You are within easy reach of Colwyn Bay, with miles of sweeping promenade along the huge sandy beach. A little further is either Llandudno, a fabulous Victorian seaside town with traditional pier and its must quieter West Shore, or Conwy whose town walls are considered to be among the finest and most complex in Europe. Gwyrch Castle where ’I’m a Celebrity’ has been filmed, is also only a short drive away.
