The Pavilion has been carefully renovated with you in mind offering spacious living areas, sumptuous bedrooms featuring en-suite bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher. Outside, the enclosed garden and terrace overlooking the equestrian arena, amongst the backdrop of the beautiful Malvern Hills, makes the perfect place to kick back and unwind with a glass of wine following a busy day’s exploration.
The property is located in the grounds of Hillview Arena and Stables, and you are directly beside a bridle path. The owners offer riding holidays by prior arrangement. Here, your horse can be accommodated during your stay at the cottage, in the 12x12 stables or fenced turnout area. You would also have access to use of the two arenas and show jumps. These four superb holiday cottages nestle on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire and are located on a 700-acre estate on the beautiful west side of the Malvern Hills. Netherley Hall Estate is a family-run farm specialising in the breeding of cattle and sheep and the surrounding area offers marvellous woodland walks.

The cottages are within 15 minutes’ drive of Malvern and have panoramic views of the wooded hills and unspoilt countryside; the location is ideal for nature enthusiasts, with an abundance of wildlife to observe as well as unrivalled birdwatching.

Three of the cottages are detached, whilst the fourth one is semi-detached, and the English oak timber used to restore their interiors was felled and machined from the extensive woodland on the estate itself. The furnishings and fittings for all the cottages have been supplied by local businesses, and during restoration, the owners have paid great attention to detail.
Parkers (ref RAAP) was originally built in 1610 and is a detached, listed building lovingly restored to the very highest standard and has several items of antique furniture. Parkers Lodge (ref RAAQ) is a smaller two-bedroomed detached cottage completed in 2006 and fitted out to a very high standard, whilst Brook House (ref RAAR) is a detached, listed building dating from around 1670 and emanates a marvellous ambience. It has landscaped gardens and a terrace with outstanding views overlooking Mathon Brook. The Bothy (ref UK12100) is semi-detached and was renovated in 2019. It has a kitchen/dining room, and through the archway there is a comfortable living room with French doors opening out to a beautiful garden area, with views over the farmland and farm animals.

Attractions to visit near the cottages include the Malvern Hills, Three Counties Showground and Malvern Theatre, as well as farm shops, gardens, gift shops, picnic areas and walking trails. Fishing, golf and horse riding are also available, as well as pick your own fruit (in season). Whitewells Farm were the first holiday cottages in Herefordshire to have been converted from existing farm buildings into individual self-catering holiday homes in 1978. They all feature original beams throughout, half-cruck trusses and some have vaulted ceilings and beamed room divisions. Situated in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, Whitewells Farm has a collection of individually styled barn conversions for you to stay in. Saddlestones was converted from the old milking parlour and stable, and has an upside down layout. The entrance hall leads to two beamed bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and vanity unit, and the other, a very spacious room with two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and overhead shower. The staircase leads up to the kitchen/dining area and a large, heavily exposed beamed living room. There are wonderful views of the rolling countryside and the duck pond.
The Black and White Trail, The Elgar Route, Cheltenham, and an abundance of National Trust properties, to name just a few, are some of the fascinating places to explore from your base at Whitewells Farm. Being placed close to the main routes to Hereford, Worcester, Ledbury, and Bromyard mean that access to towns and cities in all directions couldn’t be simpler. Do you enjoy the splendour of Regency buildings? Cheltenham, Leamington Spa, and of course Hereford, have some wonderful examples all within an hour’s drive. Being a border county means there are a wealth of medieval castles and houses to spend time visiting.

Bramling Cross is a delightful and cosy cottage for two. Nestled within a private small holding of a larger home and is surrounded by fields and open countryside. It’s the perfect choice for those seeking a romantic retreat with an abundance of rural pursuits on the doorstep. Newly converted, this inviting cottage mixes modern home comforts, exposed woods, and cosy soft furnishings throughout. There is a small private terrace with seating.

Bramling Cross is named for a variety of hops first harvested at Wye College in 1927. They used to be grown in the area and are still used by Brew Dog Brewery who describe them as “elegant, refined, assured and understated”. This is the aspiration for the cottage. Sadly the hop-yards that surrounded the property were cleared in 2020. Being nestled within a rural hamlet, guests are not short of wildlife. Buzzards and sparrow hawks are seen here regularly with occasional visits from the peregrines that are resident in Worcester Cathedral! Little owls, tawny owls and barn owls are often heard if not seen. You will see plenty of winter migrants too - one of which is the bramling! It’s not just for the birds though. Bats use the main house as a summer roost, foxes, badgers and muntjac deer all live locally.

Located in the hamlet of Lulsley near Knightwick in the heart of the Teme Valley. There is a lovely local pub offering local ales and excellent locally sourced seasonal food. Nearby in Alfrick you can stock up on some scrumptious essentials by visiting the community shop and have a lovely cup of coffee and cake at the café. Should you want to explore your surroundings a little further, Worcester and Malvern are both within easy reach and Hereford is just a short drive away.

Railway Terrace gives you a welcoming feel from the moment you step through the door. Further afield are the cities of Worcester and Hereford, both easily reachable by train, and luckily the train station is just 600m away, so its the perfect spot for leaving the car behind and exploring the local attractions by rail! National Trust properties surround the area and are always a must see, as well as visiting the cities of Gloucester and Cheltenham, the latter is great for a day at the races. The Cottage is a charming terraced holiday property set in the beautiful market town of Ledbury, which is nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills and set just east of the city of Hereford.
This Grade II listed property enjoys the perfect location for those looking to explore all that Herefordshire has to offer, and is set at the top of the most beautiful cobbled street lined with black and white timber framed buildings. There is an array of independent bars, shops and restaurants set in the town waiting to be discovered. From Ledbury, there is a multitude of walks to enjoy including the Much Marcle circular walk and the Midsummer Hill walk, all which enjoy fabulous views of the Herefordshire hills.
