You will find The Bothy is a perfect base to stay and explore the surrounding area. Walks, whisky distilleries, and castles are at your doorstep. Just for hibernating, the Bothy is ideal as well. Although you can keep in touch with the outside world, as the cottage has its own Wi-Fi connection. There also is a flat screen television and a BD/DVD player.
    Grantown on Spey is part of the Cairngorms National Park. From Grantown you can travel in all directions and explore a large part of the northeast of Scotland, including the famous Speyside whisky distilleries; even Scotland’s west coast can be visited on a day trip.
