The Dyes, England 4.00This wonderful period detached cottage stands alone surrounded by its own large 3½-acre lawned garden and woodland, and boasts a tennis court and a games room in a separate annexe, with a full size snooker table (for adult use only), sauna, table tennis and football goals which can be set up in the garden. Guests should bring their own equipment for tennis and table tennis. Tucked away at the end of an unmade lane completely surrounded by woodland and countryside, the cottage’s location is perfect for nature lovers. It is also ideally located for exploring the North Norfolk coast and countryside. The area is famous for its natural sandy beaches, numerous National Trust properties, stately homes, RSPB birdwatching spots and outstanding nature reserves.
The living room has a traditional open fire, comfy chairs and a snug leading off. During the winter months, guests can enjoy nights by the fire or the baby grand piano! There is a large dining room with a woodburner and is ideal for enjoying family meals. The kitchen with pine table at one end caters for larger families and groups. Discover Holkham and Blakeney National Nature Reserves, including the renowned Blakeney Point, which are both ideal for bird and seal watching.
