Steps lead off into a secluded garden with fruit trees and benches to sit and a raised pergola, a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly. The garden opens up into a paddock and the most amazing wall to wall views of the Tyne Valley and North Cumbrian Fells.     Out and about this is a fabulous place to explore with so much to see and do. Set on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, the location is excellent for exploring the spectacular scenery of the north of England, the Scottish borderland and the Lake District National Park, which is just an hour away. Nearby you can discover the Vindolanda Roman Fort, The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the world famous Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall. Also within easy reach is Haltwhistle, which is the ‘Geographic Centre of Britain’, with sports centre and outdoor heated swimming pools, and Burn Gorge. A must visit is the historic market town of Hexham, which boasts a stunning abbey, the oldest gaol in the country, and an abundance of eclectic shops, restaurants and pubs. Continue to the beautiful Roman town of Corbridge and meander round its boutique shops, art galleries and antique shops, stop for a coffee or take a stroll along the river. Locally there is an abundance of eateries to choose from.
