Perfectly situated near to the banks of the River Derwent with a boat house and fishing permits available for a small fee. There is also the opportunity to join in with canoe or kayaking from the Boathouse. The Derwent Walkway is nearby with a variety of established walks and cycling routes, there is no better base for enjoying and exploring the local area. Excellent restaurants and a village shop are at the heart of this thriving community and within easy walking distance from the lodges.
