Southwell is a 20 minutes’ drive and is arguably one of the prettiest towns in Nottinghamshire. The Minster is only a stone’s throw from the narrow high street with its beautiful shops and pubs. The town is also renowned for its Bramley Apple heritage and the National Trust’s Workhouse.
The cathedral city of Lincoln is also a 20-minute drive and is home to the Magna Carta Centre, Victorian prison and castle, and is host to a wonderful Christmas market, as well as its own showground which is home to the Lincolnshire County Show each June.
