There are many National Trust properties all waiting to be explored, and Darts Farm, a short distance away, is worth a visit and where you can stop and enjoy a meal. The city of Exeter is within easy reach and has great shopping, a historic cathedral, a theatre and the underground passages attraction. Woodbury common is on the doorstep, and Dartmoor is an easy drive, both offering great walking and scenery. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
