Located in the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park on the shore of Loch Lomond there are lots of tracks and foot paths as well as cycle tracks from your front door. The West Highland Way is easily joined and you can follow part of it along the shore surrounded by breath-taking scenery. Explore the loch on the water with a cruise and visit the many islands or hire your own boat and take a picnic for a day on the water. Ideal for a day out and within easy driving distance, Loch Lomond Shores has a sea life aquarium, water sports, shops, restaurants and regularly hosts events. - Milngavie, ScotlandThis renovated and whitewashed attractive cottage sits in the grounds of the beautiful and challenging Milngavie Golf Course. It is tucked in behind the main clubhouse, which is at the end of a private road through a delightful farm and the cottage has dedicated car park spaces for its guests.
The course and therefore the surrounds of the cottage are set in beautiful countryside and woodland which look very much today as it did over 100 hundred years ago. Wi-Fi is available, Hive controlled heating and hot water is provided by an oil based central heating system with radiators in all rooms, easy are available to all guests.
