The abundance of wildlife that thrives right on the doorstep is magical. There is a resident seal colony on the shores below, occasional pods of dolphins can be seen passing through, and sea eagles or Golden Eagles are often spotted soaring above. The house was built by the current owner and is finished to a high standard. The house has a ground floor double bedroom and a wet room which is suitable for a wheelchair user; there are French doors to take you out onto the small decking at the front to enjoy the magnificent views day and night. The living room, kitchen and dining area are all open plan with two panoramic windows taking in the views, and the multi-fuel stove is positioned to enable to you enjoy both. Upstairs are two further bedrooms both with en-suites; the master has a kingsize bed and the other has 2ft 6in twin bed.
The area of Harlosh is only 4 miles from Dunvegan where you have a choice of restaurants, cafés, grocery and vegetable shops and a wonderful bakery. Three eating establishments, all of which are renowned for their cuisine, are within a 20-minute drive from the cottage. Dunvegan Castle and Coral Beach are a short drive away, as is Neist Point Light House and the Fairy Pools. The cottage is a great base for those that like outdoor activity with the MacLeods Tables, the Cuillins (munros) and many other mountains to walk as well as lots of walks and areas to cycle, not forgetting the Pipers Cave.
Guests can leave their kayaks and canoes at the rear of the house and can walk down to the loch at Camus Bhan slipway, it is very popular with visitors as it is an inlet of water.
