The town and vicinity is home to a variety of attractions, including the Speyside Cooperage, numerous famous distillery tours, The Wee Ferm, the attractive Aberlour Victoria Bridge and nearby Craigellachie (Telford) Bridge over the River Spey. There is a salmon smokehouse, choice of miniature or steam railways, and Moravia Aviation, as well as magnificent Ballindalloch Castle and grounds to enjoy along with a number of local golf courses.

    Fishing on the Spey is sought after and there is also trout fishing close by. You will find The Bothy is a perfect base to stay and explore the surrounding area. Walks, whisky distilleries, and castles are at your doorstep. Just for hibernating, the Bothy is ideal as well. Although you can keep in touch with the outside world, as the cottage has its own Wi-Fi connection. There also is a flat screen television and a BD/DVD player.
