This lovely, cosy, semi-detached holiday cottage is within the peaceful hamet of Nether Dallachy, just a mile from Spey Bay on the beautiful Moray coast. Styled in a mixture of antique and contemporary fittings, the cottage is all on one level and makes a good choice for the less able bodied too, as there is direct access into the house from the French doors at the rear which open onto a small enclosed sitting area with lovely views across the fields. Spey Bay is home to the National Whale and Dolphin Centre and is a wonderful area for spotting many species of wildlife including minke whales, bottlenose dolphins, ospreys, seals and much more. There are spectacular views over the sea towards the mountains of Caithness from the long shingle beach, and the world famous Spey Bay Golf Club is at the other end. For walkers, the Speyside Way passes close by and runs from Buckie on the shore of the Moray coast to Aviemore. The Whisky Trail is nearby and there are good fishing opportunities on the River Spey itself. If all this activity is too much, just relax by the woodburner and enjoy the peace. Beach 1 mile. The neighbouring village of Cullen, about 2 miles away, is definitely worth a visit. Why not try the local delicacy of cullen skink (a thick soup made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions) while you are there? If you are a keen golfer, then there are several courses within easy reach. The working fishing town of Buckie is about 4 miles away, and from here you can take a boat trip on the Gemini Explorer to search for the Moray Firth dolphins. Or, further afield at Spey Bay, you will find the popular Scottish Dolphin Centre and Nature Reserve. The famous Speyside Whisky Trail is also within easy reach and should not be missed. Situated in the heart of Grantown-on-Spey, this charming, semi-detached holiday cottage is set back off the green and offers guests a good level of space. On the ground floor there is a kitchen/dining room with a cosy wood burner, living room with further wood burner and French doors leading to the garden, and a bathroom. On the first floor there is a shower room and two bedrooms; one with a double and a single bed, and one with a kingsize bed. Outside there is a lawned garden and on-site parking for 1 car.

Grantown-on-Spey is situated halfway between the Cairngorm and Lecht ski areas. This location is very popular in winter with skiers and snowboarders. The town has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars which are all just a short walk from the cottage. There is a superb 18-hole golf course, and the Grantown Heritage Museum is worth a visit. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
