There are other cycle trails in nearby Fauldhouse and the famous Glentress cycle trails are less than an hour away. Visit the World Heritage Site of the former 18th-century cotton mill at New Lanark and discover why Robert Owen is renowned as a social reformer by developing social and welfare programmes and transforming the lives of the workers living in the planned village alongside the mill.
