Located amidst the rolling hills is the small village of Coulter just south of Biggar, with both Edinburgh and Glasgow less than an hour by car. This charming end terraced cottage has its own sunny back garden and two parking spaces. The accommodation is over two floors and has quite generous rooms. The living room on the ground floor has a nice wood burner for heating up those wee toes after a day’s winter walking or just for using as a nice feature for when it’s ’just a wee bit chilly’. The well-equipped kitchen/dining room has all the appliances you’d expect these days including the all-important dishwasher for when you simply can’t be bothered washing the dishes. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the larger of the two has a comfortable kingsize bed while the second bedroom is a little more flexible and can be used as either a twin or super kingsize bed. The bathroom has a good size bath for those who prefer a nice long soak with a shower over. The house has a real traditional cottagey feel yet with the modern appliances and had a recent upgrade (2021), this is the ideal base either to explore the expanse of the beautiful local countryside or to take advantage of the road network and see the rest of Scotland.
