Welcome to The Old Dairy, a delightful and spacious one bedroom property, converted in 2021 and set all on one level.
The Old Dairy is set in an L shape, from your outdoor seating area, you will enter in to the kitchen/diner, which has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space; it features a lovely solid oak worktops and comes equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Leading off from here, you have your bedroom with a double bed. The bright and airy living room has large picture windows overlooking your private patio garden and is a real sun trap, truly the perfect place for your morning brew or to relax after a day exploring. You also have a fabulous wet room with large shower and heated towel rail.
The Old Dairy is the perfect base to explore from. Just a short walk away is the River Parrett with its walking trail which is 40 miles long, great for all abilities. Hop in the car and head off to the medieval town of Glastonbury for some shopping at its factory outlet Clarks Village. The beaches of Berrow, Brean and Weston-super-Mare are all within easy reach. Head to Weston’s Grand Pier where you can spend hours at the amusements, then into town for some traditional seaside fare! Beach 8 miles.

A detached holiday bungalow in rolling green pastures. Ideal for visiting Glastonbury with its Abbey, Chalice Well, and the Tor with its remains of the 15th-century church. Shepton Mallet, approx 3 miles, offers varied shops, restaurants, and the floodlit carnival in November. Within 3 miles of Royal Bath & West Showground, venue of many interesting events throughout the year. Cathedral city of Wells approx. 5 miles. Nearest beaches at Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea, both approx 20 miles. Bus stop 2 miles. Train station 9 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

This pair of semi-detached converted barns enjoy a peaceful rural setting amongst rolling countryside, yet just a few miles from Glastonbury. The barns have been sympathetically renovated with oak floors and doors, large patio doors and with the original hayloft storage areas converted into galleried bedrooms. Both properties have a private terraced area, with a shared elevated lawned area, and the site is fully enclosed with fencing, ideal for those with pets or children. The Monarchs Way long distance footpath passes just in front of the barns and there are many organised tours, walks and listed footpaths within the immediate area, in the Mendip Hills and along the Somerset Levels. Glastonbury Town Trail and Glastonbury Rural Walk can be followed with ease. Attractions in Glastonbury include climbing up the tor for magnificent views, the Chalice Well and Rural Life Museum, the high street itself encompassing the myths, legends and spiritual ambience of the town, as well as the famous abbey. The city of Wells with its cathedral and Bishops Palace is within a 20-minute drive, as are The Royal Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet and Wookey Hole Caves. The Fleet Air Museum at Yeovilton and Cheddar Gorge are approximately a 30-minute drive. For retail therapy, the factory outlet centre of Clarks Village in Street is a 20-minute drive away. The cities of Bath and Bristol are both within an hours’ drive. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

This delightful converted 17th century stable building is located within the grounds of the owner’s home in a peaceful rural village setting. The tastefully decorated and comfortable cottage is single storey with patio doors from the living room and bedroom leading onto the garden and patio area. There are many public footpaths leading from the village to explore the surrounding fields and woodland. The beautiful city of Bath has numerous famous attractions, including the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, The Assembly Rooms and the award-winning Thermae Bath Spa. Many cultural festivals take place throughout the year. Shops, services and take-aways within 1 mile as well as excellent pubs and restaurants within a radius of 3 miles.

Set in a secluded position high in the Mendips above Cheddar Gorge and just 3 miles from Cheddar, these attractive barn conversions Ramscliff Cottage (ref EGA) and Mendip (ref UKC2794) make an excellent base for walkers and nature lovers. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is rich in bird and wildlife, including badgers and deer which visit the farm. Animals on the farm include pygmy goats, alpacas and guinea pigs. Nature trails criss-cross the surrounding hills, easily accessible from the farm, and the whole area is one of immense historical and geological interest.

Among the many places of interest to visit are Wells Cathedral in England’s smallest city, Glastonbury Tor, the caves at Cheddar and Wookey, Longleat House and Safari Park and several National Trust properties including Montacute House and Stourhead, and King John’s Hunting Lodge in pretty Axbridge. Excellent beaches and seaside entertainment can be enjoyed at Weston Super Mare and Brean, and there are many charming villages to be explored, along with the rugged landscape of Exmoor National Park, famous for the native ponies. The Georgian Heritage city of Bath, 50 minutes away, is easily reached and has beautiful architecture, Roman Baths, an abbey and a fine selection of shops and restaurants. Several golf clubs are available locally together with horse riding, coarse fishing and trout fishing at Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes. Very good local inns and places to eat. Beach 17 miles. Welcome to The Barn, a wonderful escape to the country with stunning views across the fields to Blagdon Lake. Inside, the main living area is open plan, the well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen has all you will need during your stay to prepare any kind of meal. The living area has a comfortable sofa, television and dining area all of which enjoy incredible views from the picture window, no matter the time of year you will marvel at the beautiful landscape. The spacious double bedroom also has lake views and is the perfect spot to lay in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and watch the boats on the lake.
Set in the Mendips, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walks for miles can be enjoyed from the doorstep and the area is perfect for mountain biking, climbing, horse riding or fishing. Just a short walk away is the beautiful Blagdon Lake with its miles of walks, stroll down and explore the Yeo Valley Organic Dairy with its Organic Garden. The nearby city of Wells has a fabulous local market and beautiful cathedral to visit as well as independent and larger shops to enjoy. Head into Cheddar and sample some local cheese, walk the reservoir loop or take a drive through the gorge!
For some ancient Roman architecture, head over to Bath and sample the delights that can be found there. If a day by the sea is what you fancy, the traditional seaside town of Weston-super-Mare is always a winner with its grand pier and donkey rides! Longleat is well worth a visit, and the city of Bristol, with the SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge, is within easy reach.

Welcome to Inglenook, a fabulous ground floor apartment set in a converted 400-year old former inn right in the heart of Watchet. Tastefully refurbished in 2023, this is a wonderful spot for your next seaside escape.

Set all on the ground floor, you enter into the porch and step through the French door into the open plan living/kitchen/dining areas, with the living area having an inglenook fireplace with electric wood burner, comfortable seating, including a sofa, fireside chairs and views from the lounge and master bedroom windows to the West Somerset Steam Railway. Outside, you have a small enclosed patio area with table and chairs, the perfect spot to sit and reflect on your day’s adventures.

Set in the heart of Watchet, you have a myriad of wonderful shops and restaurants on your doorstep to explore. Why not leave the car behind and step back in time aboard the West Somerset Steam Railway, which chugs merrily along the West Somerset Coastline and through the countryside, linking Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Exmoor is within easy reach by car, with its winding roads and plentiful tea rooms to explore, as well as seeing the famous Exmoor ponies in their natural habitat. The seaside town of Minehead is close by and offers a more traditional seaside fare of arcades, shops and restaurants.

Welcome to The Piggery, a charming one-bedroom studio annexe built in 1844, located on the site of a converted Wesleyan chapel. The Piggery is finished to a very good standard and located in the charming village of Carlingcott, just 6 miles from the centre of Bath, allowing you to mix both country and city living into your holiday!
Head up the drive and through the wooden gates to The Piggery. Outside you have a private gravelled courtyard with bistro seating, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day out exploring, there is also a free to use electric vehicle charging point. Inside, you have an open plan living/kitchen/bedroom, the vaulted ceiling adds to the feeling of space and the Velux windows are great for star gazing at the dark skies above. Within a 5-minute drive you have Peasedown St John, where you will find pubs, restaurants and local stores to stock up on essentials, or head into the city centre at Bath where you will find stunning architecture, independent shops as well as larger chain stores, and quirky cafés along the river, or treat yourself to a day bathing in the waters of Thermae Bath Spa! The nearby ancient Medieval towns of Wells and Glastonbury are packed full of eclectic charm, and Glastonbury Tor is well worth the walk up to marvel in the stunning Somerset views. The Piggery is also ideally located near to local wedding venues such as Priston Mill or Wick Farm. For some retail therapy, head over to Street where the designer Clarks Village factory outlet is located and bag yourself a bargain!

This attractive stone built holiday cottage, in the grounds of the owner’s home, is on the edge of the pretty village of Wookey Hole, famous for its spectacular caves and legendary home of the infamous Witch of Wookey. There are many leisure activities available locally, including pot-holing, hang gliding and mountain biking. There is also a huge choice of walks from the doorstep, including the Monarch’s Way and the Mendip Way. The town of Glastonbury is only a few miles away, with its 14th-century tower dominating the landscape of Glastonbury Tor. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
