Further inland are Framlingham, a quaint old town with a cobbled market square, tea shops, good eating houses and a castle. For the children, a day out and a picnic at Easton Farm Park, is a must. Set in a lovely original farm setting with antique machinery, farm animals, arts and crafts, childrens play area, a restaurant and a picnic area set alongside a river. Slightly further afield are the famous small towns of Long Melford, a haven for antique hunters, and famous for Kentwell and Long Melford Halls. The medieval old wood town of Lavenham is also worth a visit as is Constable Country and the Dedham Vale.
