There are so many attractions nearby such as the UFO walk in the well-known Rendlesham forest, the famous “Sutton Hoo” viking burial site (Netflix made a popular series about it) 5 minutes down the road. We are only 13 minutes away from the nearest beach, shingle street, and 18 minutes from Aldeburgh, a popular tourist destination. In addition to a plethora of top-quality restaurants, pubs, and Michelin star eateries, Woodbridge was voted the best place to live in the east in 2021. Nestled in the village of Homersfield this delightful country cottage is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city whilst being close to the beautiful Suffolk and Norfolk coasts. A small village on the banks of the River Waveney in Suffolk, Homersfield is home to the historic Grade II Homersfield Bridge, which was built in 1869. The property has an amazing book full of the history of the village.
This charming cottage has been newly (2023) renovated to a very good standard. On entering the property you walk into the cosy living room with a wood burner, perfect for putting your feet up in front of you with a glass of wine on a cold winter’s night.
