A short drive inland is Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails.     On entering the proeprty you are greeted by a spacious open plan living space with doors leading out to the rear enclosed garden, from here there is a gate onto a path to which you can take a short walk down to Black Rock Sands, a large sandy beach that spans for 2 miles backed by sand dunes and plenty of rock pools to keep the children and adults entertained for hours. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay, there’s also a separate utility in the garden area. On the first floor there are three bedrooms all stylishly decorated, and a quality modern walk-in shower room.
    There really is a lovely welcoming feeling in this house as soon as you walk through the door, and your ideally positioned to explore this special region. Around 15 minutes walk you will find the famous Black Rock Sands, You are perfectly placed for mountain and coastal walks.
    There’s a wealth of activities in the area, from rock climbing, kayaking, quad bike tours, or why not take a Llama for a walk? You are also right next to a fantastic golf course. The nearby town of Porthmadog is only 2 miles away and has a wealth of places to eat, lots of quaint independent shops and is also home to the famous Welsh Highland Railway. The Italian style village of Portmeirion is a short 15-minute drive away. Take a drive a little further just under 12 miles and you’ll discover the imposing Harlech Castle which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.     For amenities you’ll find the village Tremadog, just over 2 miles distance, here there’s a convenience store and a couple of traditional Welsh Pubs to visit, and a fish and chip shop. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, and just outside Porthmadog a busy harbour town, home to the famous Welsh Highland Railway. You’re ideally placed for enjoying the delights of the area. Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, is a magnet for climbers and walkers. The area has an excellent range of outdoor pursuits, historic castles and family attractions. The picturesque Italian village of Portmeirion, is well worth a visit, as is the glorious sandy beach at Black Rock Sands, great for all ages, you can drive your car onto the vast expanse of sands.
