Cefnaire Isaf bursts with character, charm and facilities including a large projector/cinema screen with surround sound, perfect for family nights in. This is also wonderful walking and birdwatching country with numerous activities available nearby including golf, fishing and riding - a perfect location for exploring the borderlands of England and Wales, southern Snowdonia and Aberystwth’s seaside attractions. This detached holiday home is located at the edge of The Brecon Beacons National Park and furnished to a high standard. This property is ideal for families, offering spacious accommodation and four comfortable bedrooms.

The property comprises of a large kitchen and living area, with all the appliances you could need from a coffee pod machine to a Bose sound system, as well as a large TV. The living area leads through to the utility room, which opens out onto the private garden with swing ball, BBQ and a hot tub! There is also a table tennis table to the side of the garden area. There is something for everyone at Ty Glyndwr and you are sure to never have a dull moment.

The dining room is a great place for family dinners and get-togethers, and there is also a wet room on the ground floor. On the first floor are four large bedrooms, comprised of a master bedroom with super kingsize bed and en-suite, then two further super kingsize bedrooms and a twin room. Every bedroom features a 32" TV and bathrobes. In the property is a piano and two guitars, as well as a picnic basket and large ice box for sunny days at the beach.

This property offers the best of both worlds, for those wanting to walk, explore or cycle then Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales is 25 miles from the property, and for beach lovers the Gower Peninsular is 18 miles away. Rhossilli Bay is a must see and has some fabulous walks across to Worms Head, just remember to check when the tide comes in or you may get stuck for a couple of hours! Another must visit is the waterfalls of Henrhyd, sure to make for a great day out exploring the natural wildlife and waterfalls. The National Show Caves for Wales are a short drive from the property and have some wonderful caves, as well as some amazing dinosaurs and play areas, a great way to spend the day with your children.

Cwm Yr Wch Cottage is a cosy yellow cottage full of character, and is an ideal, relaxing base for up to four guests. With plenty of living space, the ground floor includes a relaxing lounge area with sofas facing the snuggly log burner and wall mounted TV above, the perfect socialising space for quality time with your loved ones. The living area is open plan with a spacious dining area, and there’s a further separate well equipped kitchen, conservatory and ground floor bathroom. There are two generously sized bedrooms on the first floor. Outside the cottage has a courtyard garden offering further social space ideal for those warm summer evenings, and driveway parking is also available.
You’ll find Cwm Yr Wch Cottage at the end of a quiet lane in Dunvant. The location lends itself well for exploring Swansea and The Gower, with access to fantastic walks from your doorstep. The Gower is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of rugged coastline, ‘hidden gem’ beaches, and coastal trails to explore.
Just a short drive from Cwm Yr Wch will get you to some of the gorgeous beaches, including Oxwich Bay or Three Cliffs Bay only being 15 minutes away. In just 20 minutes you could drive to Swansea or The Mumbles. Swansea is the second biggest city in Wales and has lots to offer including leisure activities, shopping centres, theatre, and cinemas as well as an abundance of places to eat and drink! The Mumbles is traditional fishing town full of history, with a Victorian pier, a lighthouse built in 1794 and Oystermouth Castle. The bustling, boutique high street here has lots of independent shops, cafés and restaurants as well as some familiar favourite restaurants.

Bay Cottage is set in the grounds of Coytrahen House, an 18th-century landscaped park with a Georgian country house. The park is mostly woodland and offers 42 acres to explore. Bay Cottage is detached and sits just behind the main country house. The cottage has a modern feel with a touch of country style and the luxury finish throughout makes for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.
Accommodating up to four guests, there are two good-sized bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. The open plan living accommodation boasts two living areas, a dining space and a fully equipped kitchen. The living areas have been set up to make the most of the property, one area to sit back relax in and enjoy views of the countryside, the other with a Smart TV to chill out to, perfect to enjoy a movie night after a day exploring. The dining area is central as you enter the cottage, a perfect space for getting together in to enjoy a meal, socialise, or play some board games. The country-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including full cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. Outside, the cottage sits on a 42-acre plot of mostly woodland; feel free to get out and explore this gorgeous countryside. Keep an eye out for the goats too – you may see them bouncing on their trampoline! What makes this property truly relaxing is the outdoor area, there is a patio area with BBQ, and outdoor seating as well as a four person hot tub.
The 42-acre plot is based in Coytrahen, Bridgend; you’ll find a local pub in the village, and more in neighbouring towns and villages around the borough. Bridgend County Borough has lots to explore, including historical sites, country parks and the heritage coast, a designer shopping outlet and some fantastic independent restaurants around the county. So whether you fancy a day at the beach, or want to indulge in some local history, or even a day of retail therapy followed by some quality dining, it’s all there to enjoy.
If you want to see more of South Wales Bay Cottage is a great base… road access for South Wales is good, with the M4 motorway a short drive away. Head west for Swansea and the famous Gower Peninsula Area Of National Beauty or Pembrokeshire coast. Or a short drive east will get you to Cardiff, Wales’ capital city. Cardiff is home to all kinds of events year round, including international sports, musical superstars, and much more! Within an hour’s drive you could also find yourself in the famous Welsh valleys, where you’ll find waterfall walks (where some famous movie scenes have been filmed), or the Brecon Beacons at the foot of the tallest peak in South Wales, Penyfan.

The lodge has private parking below the property from which there is a short uphill walk to the front door, opening directly into the spacious open plan living space. Patio doors lead out onto a beautiful balcony area with spectacular views up the valley and is the perfect space for relaxing with a glass of your favourite tipple as you watch the sun go down.
Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active, and many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens in nearby Kington. There is also the small breeds animal park situated just outside Kington which younger visitors will be able to enjoy all year round.
Kington also provides guests with pubs and restaurants to enjoy as well as a number of takeaway restaurants if you are looking to enjoy a night in. The property is just 13 miles from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye which is famous for its many book shops and annual Hay Festival, which attracts many visitors each year, including many celebrity faces.

Chester is a 1½ hours away and Shrewsbury is just 30 minutes’ away by car. All offer a large array of shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy. For the more active guests, there is a great selection of walks, such as the Llanymynech Rocks nature reserve, or for those looking for longer walks, the Shropshire Hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty all well worth a visit. Please do not charge Electric Vehicles at the property - there is Tesco’s within a couple miles which has charging points, alongside the main car park which has charging points for you to use.

Forest View is self-contained, attached to the owner’s bungalow and is situated in Dolau in Powys. This ground floor accommodation is perfect for those looking to explore the area whether it be on foot or by bicycle, you can walk straight out from the front door into the open countryside – perfect for your four-legged friends!
The village of Pen-Y-Bont is just 3 miles away and has a pub serving food. Further down the road in Crossgates there is a café, launderette and service station. The town of Llandrindod Wells is 8 miles and has an abundance of shops, restaurants and interesting walks and also a fabulous lake that you can take a stroll round whilst listening to the local wildlife. Offa’s Dyke, a famous walking trail, is only a 20-minute drive, and there are plenty of other scenic walks nearby. The Royal Welsh Showground, 15 miles, has lots to offer in the way of events and shows, not forgetting the famous Royal Welsh Show in July. Elan Valley is a must see – some fabulous dams and exploring to be done here. If you want to leave the car behind, Dolau station which is part of the Heart of Wales train line is just a 10-minute walk away.
