Salisbury is approximately 10 miles away. There are railway stations in both towns with trains to London Waterloo (in just under 2 hours), or to the West Country. The village is less than 10 minutes from the A303, between Stonehenge and the market town of Mere.

Larkham Loft is ideally located to explore this lovely part of Wiltshire. Points of interest include Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, art gallery and café in Tisbury, Cranbourne Chase, the Newt near Bruton, Wardour Castle (English Heritage) and Dinton Park or Stourhead (both National Trust). There is an abundance of local walking around and about. Great food is always part of a great weekend away. This delightful one bedroom property, built in 2014, is a detached single storey annexe in the grounds of the owner’s larger property with views over undulating Wiltshire countryside. Parking is shared with the owner in the main drive and a well-lit 37m public footpath leads from the main drive to the rental property. The property has its own small garden area and an aspect that faces away from the owner’s house. With a footpath adjacent to the house there is access to open countryside right from your doorstep.

The main house is a unique, Grade II listed, Georgian manor house nestled in 25 acres of Wiltshire countryside. This beautiful detached property features a games room in the basement, a ’secret’ walled garden and well-equipped accommodation for families, friends or couples who enjoy holidaying together, and with 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, this makes the ideal choice.
