Within easy driving distance are Witley Court, the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Ludlow, Worcester and Tenbury Wells. The Wyre Forest is the largest woodland nature reserve in England with cycling, horse riding and many scenic walking trails.
The pretty market town of Ludlow is home to the ruins of a medieval castle which dates back to the 12th century. The black and white timber framed buildings lining the streets add a traditional feel to the town.
The cathedral city of Worcester is in some ways, another market town with pretty black and white Tudor timber framed buildings, and makes for an alternative day out. The medieval cathedral is home to cloisters, a crypt and houses some royal tombs.

For a family day out the West Midlands Safari Park is home to over 170 exotic species including meerkats, zebra, tigers, rhinoceros, giraffes, lions, camels, cheetah, ankola cattle and elephants to name a few.
The Welsh border is within travelling distance – why not visit for a day and sample some Welsh cakes!

There are many places of interest including the historic university city of Worcester, with its cathedral, shops and restaurants. Ideally located for the Elgar route, including Elgar’s birthplace museum, the Shelsley Hill Climb, the oldest hill climb track in the world, the city of Hereford and the Mappa Mundi, as well as the rolling Malvern Hills. Beautiful Cotswold villages, with honey coloured cottages, abound and are well worth a visit. The outstanding natural beauty of the Shropshire Hills is also a short drive away. Fishing can also be found nearby. Alternatively, just relax and unwind. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

The historic cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford are 30 minutes away as well as 45 minutes to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. A firm favourite with guests and locals is The Severn Valley Steam Railway and picturesque country walks and cycle routes that surround.
The suite is located within the main historic country manor house. The suite is located on the ground floor and has its own private entrance, approached along the part-gravel pathway. The country house is an elegant Georgian building from the Regency period dating from 1820 and was the historic manor court of the area. It is set in approximately 3 acres of the most peaceful grounds including woodland and has wonderful views of the hop vineyards and hills of the beautiful Teme Valley.

This beautiful Grade II listed, double fronted, terraced cottage is located in the idyllic north Worcestershire village of Chaddesley Corbett, between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster. This spacious and lovely furnished cottage has retained much charm and character and is the ideal place to stay for families and friends wishing to explore the area. Chaddesley Corbett is situated within the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire and boasts a butchers, florist, tea rooms, hairdressers with beautician and three village pubs including one opposite the cottage, where you will often be able to experience live music, jazz nights, open mic nights and an annual classic car rally in August. Chaddesley Woods is an area of woodland and nature reserve on one side of the village with a network of public footpaths to explore the area. Also within the village is the luxury Brockencote Hall where you can fine dine in their 3 AA Rosette restaurant or you can visit the Grade I listed 11th-century church of St Cassian’s.
There is plenty to keep everyone amused in the nearby area including the West Midland Safari Park, the open air Avoncroft Museum, Severn Valley Steam Railway, the Georgian town of Bewdley sitting on the River Severn, the transport museum, National Trust properties including Kinver Edge and the Rock Houses, Knowles Mill and Hanbury Hall and Gardens. Downstairs you have a spacious dining room with enough seats for everyone and joined to the dining room you have a modern kitchen. Upstairs you have five spacious double bedrooms, with three having the ability to be twin or double. The grounds of the property are lovely and perfect for family and friends to relax in, and there is even a barbecue hut with seating for 10 people which can be used all year round. Ombersley village is recommended to visit and only 3 miles away, with its historic black and white houses, and a butcher, fishmonger, deli and coffee shop all under one roof. Friendly Ombersley Golf Club is only half a mile away with great practice facilities and you can use the all day restaurant open from early to late evening at any time, even if you don’t play golf. Nearby is Little Owl Farm Park, where you can pet the farm animals, and West Midlands Safari Park is 8 miles away. The Georgian riverside town of Bewdley is 8 miles away and Kidderminster, the starting point of the world famous Severn Valley Railway, is just over 8 miles away. Stourport-on-Severn is around 4 miles, with shops, bars and restaurants. The lively cathedral city of Worcester is just over 8 miles and certainly worth a visit, whilst the Malvern Hills, a must for walkers, and the quintessential English Cotswolds with many villages to explore, are all within easy reach. The Old Rope Works manufactured hand made rope and twine from 1801 to 1972. A display of its equipment and products is on display in Bewdley museum. The building has been lovingly transformed and restored into a luxurious, spacious, bright, contemporary, cosy home whilst retaining the huge character and quirkiness of the original factory. There are original beams, hard floors, bare brick walls throughout, and the working bell tower that once called in its workers.
On the ground floor you have a contemporary kitchen with breakfast seating area and 30" TV, a dining room with the double bedroom off to the left and the luxurious bathroom off to the right, fitted with bath walk-in shower and underfloor mood lighting. At the rear of the property, through a gated entrance is an enclosed courtyard with very high walls, ideal for children and pets alike. It features garden furniture and a gas BBQ, a real sun trap all afternoon until sunset so great to relax and dine al fresco. There is also a store off the courtyard for cycling and fishing equipment with a wash down hose outside.
