Overview

The Haven is a two-bedroom, two bathroom cottage with its own patio. A delightful mix of cool, fresh interiors with warming oak and original Cornish art, the cottage has plenty of natural light and easily sleeps four people. The Haven is only a few miles from Truro and Falmouth and perfectly placed for exploring both the North and South coasts.

Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with a 6' emperor size double bed and both with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a vaulted open-truss ceiling and, in some, a cathedral feature window. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and plenty of storage space. This Haven cottage is pet friendly.

Outside you'll have your own private Hot Tub to relax in while you furry friend enjoys the fresh air!

A lovely rural location, The Valley is only a few miles from Truro and Falmouth and is an ideal base from which to explore the best of Cornwall with your four legged friend; heritage sites, coastal walks, and stunning beaches are all within a 30 minute drive, and there are acres of Cornish countryside right on your doorstep.

ROOMS

Two of The Valley's Haven cottages are dog-friendly, with each boasting a large open plan living area, two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a patio garden (one of which is enclosed). Furnished to an exceptional standard, the master bedroom features a 6' emperor size double bed and has a vaulted open-truss ceiling, while the second bedroom offers two single beds. Sumptuous beds are complemented with 'soft as down' pillows and duvets, crisp white linen and stripy bolsters from Linum in Sweden, with white fluffy towels folded at the end of each.

DINING

The Haven cottages each boast a well-equipped kitchen fitted with all the kitchen gadgets you will need for your stay, including an oven, hob, microwave, washer dryer, food blender, pestle and mortar, and even a rolling pin with instructions for how to make your own Cornish pasties!

And if you don't feel like cooking, The Valley's own Café Azur serves locally inspired dishes daily that showcase the freshest seasonal produce. For the ultimate in relaxed dining you can also choose to have Café Azur dishes delivered direct to your cottage where you can enjoy your meal in total comfort.

THE EXTRA MILE

The Valley's exclusive leisure facilities offer the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge. Facilities include indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a spa pool, tennis and squash courts and a fitness suite. Hart of The Valley, the on-site restaurant offers wood-fired pizzas, themed food nights, and street food events by award-winning chef Ondine. Enjoy alfresco dining by the pool, dog-friendly options, and special events during peak seasons.

All four-legged guests are given their own treats and toys, as well as food and water bowls, and comfy dog beds. Plus, the cottages in a prime location for some exploration.

Dine with Your Dog

Onsite you'll find Hart of The Valley, a new, family-run restaurant, with it's kitchen run by award-winning chef and MasterChef quarter-finalist, Ondine. Every Monday, you can dine with the irresistible aroma of freshly wood-fired pizzas. Crafted from hand-stretched dough, these pizzas are a hit among guests, who can enjoy them on-site or take them back to their cozy cottages. From Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings you'll have the choice of a variety of themed nights and street food events. From the rich flavors of Greek cuisine to the exotic spices of Moroccan dishes, each evening promises an array of tempting options. Using locally sourced ingredients, Ondine creates family favourites as well as a dedicated kids' menu, ensuring there's something for everyone. In the summer, guests can order their meals by The Valley’s outdoor swimming pool. Sip a wine or a refreshing cocktail while dining alfresco, making the most of the warm Cornish sunshine. The restaurant is dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot for the entire family. During peak times like May half-term and the summer holidays, Hart of The Valley offers breakfast, lunch, doggy ice creams, and traditional cream tea. Additionally, Ondine hosts a variety of special events such as cookery classes, quiz nights, and artistic evenings. She even caters to children’s parties.
