Take a trip to Hesket New Market which is home to Britain's first community owned pub and microbewery. The stunning towns of Penrith and Keswick are both nearby. Penrith offers fantastic shops and buildings whereas Keswick is firmly in the Lake District National Park, it's surrounded by scenery and is certainly worth the visit.
