About this property

Positioned in the peaceful Cotswold village of Amberley, dog-friendly The Amberley Inn located in the Cotswolds is the perfect rural retreat for you and your four-legged friend. This impeccably stylish inn is surrounded by National Trust common land providing a hilltop backdrop and enviable views across the spectacular south Cotswolds countryside. Built in 1855, the historic inn embodies antique chic with original oak-panelled rooms and parquet flooring, stone mullioned windows and roaring log fires. Pets are very much a part of the family here too; they are welcome in both the bar and private garden on and off-lead.

Dine with Your Dog

Bring your dog along for supper in the cosy lounge bar or garden. The south Cotswolds is well-provided with high-quality produce and The Amberley Inn ensures it only uses local suppliers as they pride themselves on being able to offer fresh, quality food. The Gatcombe Park Estate, owned by HRH Princess Anne, supplies beef and lamb to our local butcher Taylors of Minchinhampton which delivers daily to the kitchen. The Inn’s ales are all brewed within a three-mile radius of Amberley and the cellar is stocked with many vintages from local vineyards.

Bow wow factor

Has to be its location. There’s countryside on all sides for miles and miles; it’s a doggie paradise!
