An old coaching inn located on the old A30 on the Devon/Cornwall border, The Arundell is almost an institution, famous amongst fly fishermen for its wild fly fishing and with foodies for its outstanding restaurant and bar and wonderful atmosphere. For those who have never been, a visit to The Arundell is a must, whether for a short break to enjoy the delicious local and seasonal food produced by The Arundell chefs or for a fishing, walking or cycling holiday with family or friends.
The bedrooms have all been refurbished, with eight dog-friendly twin and kingsize rooms in the coach house. All rooms have bluetooth Roberts Radios instead of televisions, comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms.

The restaurant is well known both locally and amongst those who frequently travel to the area and has won many awards. The team of chefs are passionate about food and cook only with local, seasonal produce of the highest quality. The Arundell Deli is the latest addition and is a café, artisan grocers and vinters available for light bites, grocery shopping and for delicious ready-made food prepared by The Arundell chefs. The First Night grocery boxes are a holiday makers delight, designed to provide a delicious easy to cook supper ready prepared in the kitchen for a wonderful breakfast. A choice of picnics are available for order and collection both to guests and to non-residents and are a perfect addition to days on the river, walks on Dartmoor or cycling days out.
